The gentle man picked me up promptly. Brought myself and husband back together. He spoke politely to us while my husband removed my bandage and boot. It was a good experience combined with seeing my doctor after.

Dr. Kim was very thorough, kind and did a good job of explaining the risks of my reconstructive surgery. I am looking forward to having her do my surgery and feel lucky that she is part of the team. Update: my surgeries and follow up care were great! Dr. Kim did a perfect job of reconstructive surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Kim and the entire team at Kaiser.

Dr. Aung Thu Ya at Kaiser Permanente's Redwood City Medical Center is a dedicated, thoughtful, and knowledgeable physician. He takes time to listen to his patients and he and his staff always respond to emails on a timely basis. Highly recommend.

Do not waste your time in their emergency room; you’re far better off seeking help online, like using ChatGPT, and treating yourself at home. If you’re a person of color, think twice about going in—it’s likely they’ll leave you in pain. I entered the ER carrying my baby and multiple bags, yet no one offered assistance.
