My father continually gets doctors that don’t speak the English language well. He is 84 years old and shouldn’t have to struggle through his appointments to understand or worse come home not understanding the end result of the appointment. I’m very upset with the care he has been given or should I say not been given. He had an appointment today for his blood sugar that is in the 500’s and nothing was done about it nor were his meds changed or altered. 5 hour or longer waits. Need more urgent care facilities open or contract out to the dozens of urgent cares in the city!
Took son in for an Asthma attack. Told they did not have any doctors on site and to go to Hospital. Ask pharmacy for a refill on his emergency inhaler. They say have to ask doctor on the following day. When they do get the authorization from doctor they say will not be ready until after 1400. 5 hour wait for a refill of an emergency inhaler.
They don’t care and don’t take patients seriously. Really sad, I have been going through Kaiser since I was a kid and never dealt with this kind of service before. Being denied blood test, having a doctor that doesn’t take my symptoms or my health seriously, having nurses insinuate I am a hypochondriac by saying, “ they don’t want to feed me symptoms,”. Refusing to sign paper work so I don’t lose my job because I keep getting sick. Way to go Kaiser.
They have raised the premium for a healthy, non overweight , nonsmoking individual over $100. per month. Now its over $300. Per month! For one person! Utterly ridiculous. I could understand perhaps $40. Increase. Don't bother offering me another plan. I'll just pay more in deductible and co pays, so you're not doing me any favors. What can I do? Nothing. You have my back against the wall and you know you can just charge whatever you want and we have to pay.
