The doctor and medical assistants are very welcoming in the nephrology department and not in a hurry, which is great in this time of medical personnel shortages. The doctor spent time explaining and answering all my questions and concerns which I appreciated.
During my visit my Doctor was personally interested in my feelings and mental health.
In urgent care I experienced sub part service from dr. Allan Apostol. He knows his stuff and is nice enough but did not take my back injury very seriously and said something like, "I wake up with back pain all of the time." Pretty unimpressive bedside manner. He lightly touched my back to check for pain for around 5 seconds, but that was the extent of the physical interaction. I did feel like the front office worker (Miss Regina?) had my back and took me seriously--thank you! Dr Apostol do better! It's the little things
My 9 year sick child was denied care for being 10 minutes late. The MA Anh was super rude to my husband and sick child. My husband and twins waited in the lobby for a while until they were taken to a room and again waited 1 hours just to be told they are not sure if my sick son will be seen today for being late and the doctor is too busy. Really!!! This was a visit for a sick child not a regular visit. If the doctor wanted, they could have popped in the room for a bit to see my son but no.
