Good Susuhi – Kabuki has one of the best sushi in town. The fish is fresh, many different styles of sushi, very creative. The waitress is very friendly and nice, the sushi chef is also friendly to talk to. I enjoy the sushi there very much. I go there very often.
Save your $ – I went to Kabuki and sat at the bar while on a wait, the bartender seemed confused, the cooks are not as entertaining as at Kanki. Our cook gave us barely any vegetables and WAY overcooked my chicken. I'd expect more for $18 an entree.
Avoid if you can! – Food cold, undercooked and very very slow to prepare. Wait staff rude and management no better even though substantial service charge often added automatically to bill. Look at your bill carefully!! Small soda (mainly ice) $1.50. 1 top up free - any extras charged at $1.50 even if you don't request. We will not return!
Hibachi maybe – Went there one evening for dinner. Asked to be seated and immediately seated at the hibachi table, then asked to be moved to sushi table. Wasn't busy, ordered green tea, and had to wait for a while...ok. Entree came with appetizer and soup... Dish came out, got part of the order correct, but other dish came out and missing all the other side dishes. sodium galore – food was too salty, clumsy chef and rude waitress does not make this a good japanese restaurant.
Better than Kanki – My friends and I were really impressed with Kabuki. We normally go to Kanki at Crabtree but decided to try Kabuki since Kanki is always so busy. We were seated immediately and the experience just got better. The food was excellent and I think it was better than Kanki. Kabuki seemed to have more of a selection as well.
Excellent! – My wife and I had dinner here on Sat.7/28 Great atmosphere. Food was excellent. The chef did a bang up job of putting on a show. Everything was cooked perfectly to order. A lot of food for your money.
Go Hungry!!! – Every time I go to Kabuki, I end up taking home a doggy bag. There is so much food! The chefs put on a good show. Very entertaining & very delicious!
Good Eats – I have been here on a several occasions with work and with my kids, and I have had a good experience every time. The food is better than Kahnki, and the setting and service is great as well.
