got a perm here yesterday and had a great experience! The stylist was super nice, listened carefully to what I wanted, and followed my instructions perfectly. I really liked how the perm turned out and was very happy with the final result.

I had a great experience at K2 Salon! Ken did my haircut. We started with a chat about what I wanted, which was a wolfcut/shaggy layers. I showed him a reference photo and we discussed whether the style would work with my hair type (naturally slightly wavy), since I wanted to be able to wear the new haircut without having to style my hair heavily. Hidden gem in Oakland. Ken really knows how to layer hair. He doesn’t overdo it and leave you looking shaggy, nor does he underdo it and leave you with blunt ends. Everything is perfectly balanced. My only minor complaint is that he blow-dried my hair pin straight to see the layers better instead of cutting it wet. I understand why he did it, but it does add some unnecessary heat damage to the hair.

Nick serving Fades like nobody’s business. Boy can run circles on the typical high end salons. Feeling fresh and fly thanks to Nick. Easy to schedule and location is accessible driving or public transport.
