Took advantage of a 19 year old! What type of business won’t give back a deposit? Don’t do business with a company that is willing to steal from a young adult.
It is astounding when a business will let a thousand bucks cause so many bad reviews that will inherently lead to losing many thousands. This day and age of technology and how fast info gets to people with social media it just doesn't make sense to hold on to anyone's deposit if a purchase wasn't made regardless of who is right or wrong. The bad publicity alone would cause me if I were an owner to not do that even if I thought I was right.
