Dr Rao was very professional and scheduled me for a lot of tests to hopefully find .my stomach issues.
Worst visit ever. First off I could hear her screaming at the patient in the room next to mine. Then she refuses to listen and wants to run the same exact tests she has the results of in front of her. Terrible mannerisms towards patients. I will not return and have already made an appointment for a new consult.
She never helped me and when I would try to communicate with her she would say she is not trying to argue with me. She just dismissed me and told me she couldn't help with my GI problems but she suppose to be the specialist. I would NEVER recommend her for anyone unless you want to waste your time and money.
Dr Rao won't listen and will cut you off. She was in the room in under 2 minutes and immediately directed me to the nurse, yes it's almost 5pm but why fault us if my appointment is 3:30pm? The nurse was rude and crossed her arm, rolled her eyes when I ask a question. She argued scolded Dr Rao because she was talking to me while Dr Rao is instructing another patient. As I stood and walked away, they were both arguing. So toxic and unprofessional environment.
Today was my last visit to Dr. Rao. She has a horrible attitude with both her staff and patients. She was yelling at one of her staff just before she came in to speak to me. She had me do a 27-panel drug test that was very expensive and it was obvious she had not read the results. I brought a copy for her, but she refused to look at it. Dr. Rao & all staff are so nice & thorough, it is a real pleasure when I go to see them. I also got great results from my tests, I highly recommend Dr. Rao!
Thank you to Dr. Rao and her staff. they are always there when I need them. Been with this MD for a few years while treating my diagnosis. The clear lake office can get a little crazy with 2 doctors in there but it's my location choice. See you again in 6 months.
After 3 Gastro drs., I found my dr in Dr. Rao. Her smile puts me at ease. She hits my problem right on target. I leave her office worry-free! She's "simply the BEST. Better than all the rest. Better than anyone!"
