You will be sitting waiting for quite a while BUT you’ll be hard pressed to find a more thorough doctor anywhere. I’ve sadly moved further away from his office or I’d still be there. I’m tempted to make the drive because I cannot find the same level of care elsewhere.
EXCELLENT. I don't mind the wait if the doctor is good...and Dr. Bartos is greatness. He never rushes me out and always is careful to TALK with me, not at me. I highly RECOMMEND him.
Dr. Bartos is one of best in this area. He is so thorough. The staff shows delay time for each doctor. He also has a PA on staff. When I first met him I was a mess. Constant heart flutters, high blood pressure blah blah. He is keen on family history and he paid extra attention that all of my family died of heart disease or stroke. He immediately sent me to a heart specialist who also was alarmed at my history. All is good now. See him for follow ups etc. He's the best.
DR Bartos has been our primary care doctor for many years. Yes, the wait time is extensive. However once seen he has always taken the time to listen and address concerns. He is a very thorough doctor.
I question myself every time I bring my dad in to see Dr. Bartos. For the past 2 years I have had to block a half day off work for only a check up visit. Their wait times are exhausting. I do appreciate his care and my dad needs the consistency at 84, however strongly consider another office if looking for a new physician, or if you have unlimited time to wait you will be fine.
Like Dr. Bartos and trust his care, however that’s when you finally get seen. This office has the worst wait times. Plan an entire 1/2 day when you have an appointment.
Office visits are normally 2 1\2 to 3 1\2hours long.
If any mental health needs are present, I would NOT suggest making Dr. Bartos your PCP. He and his Social Worker do not have a professional commitment to helping spouses/loved ones of a pt exhibiting psychological issues. Bartos will limit a psych assessment to "what day, time, season" etc, neglecting pts with long-standing and or even dangerous mental health needs. He (Bartos) and Social Worker, want to do the very least toward any involvement or appropriate referral. Lazy, no to low support.
I was Dr. Bartos' patient for over 16 years. Over the last few years, my confidence in him has waned. With the onset of technology, he spends most of the time completing items on the PC rather than talking to me about my condition or health. I can never get in to see him when I'm sick and his staff does not have any empathy for trying to work me in when I'm sick. His nursing assistants are inept.
