A sharp doctor with great bedside manner. I've seen Dr. Liao twice now, deciding to bare all with my increasing range of maladies after not seeing a doctor for many years. I now regret not going sooner, and am ecstatic that I picked him from the docs listed here. He listens carefully and if he can't immediately diagnose (i.e. he quickly rejected a growing brown spot as potential skin cancer), he will provide a referral. Thanks for restoring my faith in the medical profession!
He listens to concerns and offers solutions but he doesn't offer comprehensive, thorough physical exams. He doesn't track patients well for compliance and doesn't necessarily remember having seen you before. Response time for referrals is very poor. Took several weeks to get mammogram referral.
the Newport Family Our family has been going to Dr. Liao since he first joined the Newport Family Medicine practice, which has been at least 10 years now. We have found him to be very knowledgeable and thorough as well and warm, caring and a good sense of humor, which is great for us since even when we are deathly ill, we still like to joke around and laugh. Laughter IS the best medicine.
