Just in Time for Foster Youth's mission is to engage a caring community to help transition-age foster youth achieve self-sufficiency and well-being. We envision a future in which every youth leaving the foster care system has a community of caring adults waiting for them after 18. We believe consistent, long-term help from the heart is the foundation for the success of our youth so they can thrive and enjoy productive, satisfying lives.

Not many organizations that serve foster youth allow foster youth to receive services if they were in foster care before their 13th or 16th birthday. Some organizations only allow you to receive services if you were in foster care at 18. Not JIT. If you were in foster care for a day, and can provide verification of your time in foster care, you can sign up to receive services. JIT is a very unique organization that strives to improve a participant's self sufficiency and connect them to a caring community.
