I great vibe serving amazing food! The oxtail tortellini was incredible and the Nitrogenous fogged oysters were great! Come to San Diego and eat at J&I!!

I may be obsessed...I've had dinner here 3 times since the day after Christmas (my birthday). Love, love, love everything about it (except how hard it is to get a reservation at times other than 5 or 9). deviled eggs, oysters, Chilean sea bass, steak with bone marrow bread pudding, that burger, animal-style fries! OMG!!
I celebrated my Birthday at Junipers and Ivy last night. I was happy to see that Chef Richard was at this location yesterday and it made it just that much more special. He stopped and talked to us for a bit. The food was fantastic, and the service was just outstanding, the desert OMG YUMMY!!!. Even tough the restaurant was full, we did not have to wait for our food! My friends and I agree, this is a place to come back to.
Sea bass for $45 was average, chicken was good, cocktails were average. Location and atmosphere was great. Food could have been better.
The food was SO DAMN GOOD! Cocktails too. I will definitely be back. P.S. try the biscuits and the Carne crudo for sure, holy sh*t!
