I have early onset macular degeneration and asked for a referral to see a retinal specialist at Mayo Clinic. There could be treatment options available there that’s not available here. Apparently, if Dr Rhee wanted me to see a retinal specialist she would have already referred me. This is what I was told by the office staff. Thankfully I can still a specialist at Mayo, it will just be a longer wait. I have been a patient for years, but no longer. I've been a patient of Dr. Rhee's for nearly 20 years and she does an excellent job. She's very calming in her manner and is direct in providing you with the facts.
First visit with Dr Rhee, very pleased. Took plenty of time to explain my situation to me, what the tests were doing. Also took extra time to do a short procedure that wasn't previously planned. Very easy to talk with, friendly.
