We only get to Kansas City once every two years but we make sure we dine at JULIAN every time. The food and service are both excellent and Chef Tio always makes us feel at home.
I have been wanting to come here ever since Next Iron Chef. I do not know why I just now went! It was more than worth the wait. The wait staff was friendly, relaxed, and extremely knowledgeable! They "nerded out" with me about their passions and helped me find even more new flavors to try. I cannot wait to go back!
I had the pleasure of enjoying Sunday dinner at JULIAN, where chef Celina Tio serves a three or four course meal "family style." As in, she cooks something absolutely incredible, each course a surprise, and you're left wondering just how in the world she's done it. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!
I have always been impressed by the food I've eaten here. Very, very good.
