A WARNING TO ANYONE WHO CHOOSES TO USE JSI FOR INSPECTIONS!!! Under no circumstances should you use JSI to do your home inspection. The glaringly overlooked issues he either wasn’t qualified to spot or simply didn’t care enough to catch has cost me well over $11,000. Used JSI home inspections at the recommendation of my realtor- what a disaster. The home inspector claimed that the hot tub was not connected to a GFCI circuit breaker so we rushed to get a handyman out there to fix the issue only to find out that it WAS already on a GFCI breaker. Within three one week of purchasing the home the heat went out and within a month the water filtration tank was broke off at the top and leaking and they failed to mention that the downstairs closet door was broken. I was super impressed with how thorough and accurate our inspection was. I will probably save $50,000 as a result of learning about a number of not very obvious defects in the house I was planning to buy. I know home inspections are always worth it, but this one was better (covered more specifics) than any I've had done before. I highly recommend JSI Home Inspections.
