as i was reading the post, I have noticed that others had similar rudeness at JL too. My experience at the Joyce leslie on 2539 Castor Ave was amazing thanks to the honesty of an employee (the manager or supervisior) named Diane who helped me. First I will start by saying she was just so genuinely sweet and kind. Diane helped me exchange a few shirts yesterday and I apparently left one behind without even knowing that I did. At the register that manager refused my sale because my credit card was not sign. She asked for my license which I gladly gave her yet she gave me a pencil and said I MUST sign my credit card if I want to purchase the items. How dare they force me to sign my credit card. done, employees are the rudest! return policy with tags attached and original receipt and still given a hard time. done, store lost 5 customers between my daughters and me.....hello forever 21, now they know customer service.
I recently purchased an emergency dress for a new years party at the Joyce Leslie located in Roosevelt Mall When my friend and I went to the store, it was a sloppy, unorganized mad house. I went into the Coram,NY, store to return an item and the manager Charlene could not have been any more unfriendly than she was. She just put down the paper to fill out for returns in front of me and didnt say a word . She made it seem like I was bothering her. With all the stores there are to choose from why would I subject myself to that, I wont be returning there to shop nor would I recommend it to anyone. I agree also there return policy stinks.
I bought a dress for my daughter and returned it within a week with tags on. I did not have the receipt. They wouldn't give me a refund, let alone a store credit - and the cashier was rude! Last time my daughters will shop there!!!!!! Forever 21 is getting all of our business!
i got a pair of flats from JL in brooklyn got home and the size was wrong,so i want to take it back but cant fine my receitp not only that 1side is a 7 and the next side is a 8haf they dont want to give just the size that i want which is a 7 poor service
I bought a wallet at JL about 1 month ago and the zipper broke on it, so I went to return it either for a refund, gift card or exchange, etc. They wouldn't do anything without a receipt, which i did not have. However, this item was defective and they should have made good on it. I spend a lot of money with this company and will never shop there again and will tell everyone that i know not to shop there either. What horrible customer relations. I am one very unhappy customer.
