Cool place, bourbon is good, rye not so much, service very mediocre. if I'm giving you lots of my money you should at least "act" like you're happy about it. Journeymans could learn a lot about hospitality from the true bourbon makers in Kentucky - love Makers, Heaven Hill and Willetts!!!
Had a great experience. Had a flight of whiskey. Ended up buying a bottle.
We stopped in too late on a Monday to catch a tour, but you can see some of the operations for yourself from the open view of the stills in the restaurant. The restaurant, Staymaker, is great. We did the Specialty Flight, the charcuterie & cheese board, cup of soup (tomato bisque) and beet salad - all very good. The coffee liquor (Snaggle Tooth) was really good, and the bourbon barrel aged rum was really unique (in a very good way). My wife tried the OCG (signature mixed drink) and like it.
