I had surgery for a very serious rotator cuff injury and five months after surgery I would say that I am about 95% healed with no pain. I am sure that within the next few months I will be at 100%. It is commonly said that it takes about 1 year to be fully recovered from this type of surgery. I credit my speedy recovery to Dr. Alpert's ability as a surgeon.
My son had a really nasty break of his clavicle and was in a lot of pain. Dr. Alpert's office worked really hard contacting the insurance company to ensure surgery was able to be performed as soon as possible. Surgery was great and 6 months later he is good as new with no restrictions. Highly recommend.
Dr. Josh Alpert and his staff are great. I had frozen shoulder and went because the pain was unbearable and PT only went so far. Within hours of my appt I was pain free. I appreciate Dr. Alpert's care and very pleased with the results. Friendly office and easily accessible.
Dr. Alpert and his staff were outstanding to work with. All aspects of services, from diagnosis, to surgery, to post-operation follow up were prompt, courteous and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Alpert and the Midwest Bone and Joint practice for any orthopedic health needs. When I had questions regarding my surgery i emailed Dr. Alpert and he replied promptly and even followed up with a phone call. Dr. Alpert utilizes the The Algonquin Surgery Center and they were also outstanding.
I broke my leg and needed surgery. Dr Alpert and his team was excellent through the whole 3 month process. I would highly recommend him and his team.
Dr. Alpert did reverse shoulder surgery on me on Feb 6, 2018. I couldn't be happier with the results. Not only is he a fabulous surgeon he is a kind caring man. I found him by chance looking on the internet, he was the only dr. Who had 5 stars by his name and so I called. True story and I'm so glad I did. I would recommend him over and over.
I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Alpert. Family member had a horrific injury but Dr. Alpert was clear &concise in his evaluation and set forth a plan of action. He laid out what we should expect, the plan and he executed it perfectly. He's answered every question and his accessibility was off the charts. We emailed him questions at odd hours and he would reply at odd hours. He knows what he is doing, he is a straight shooter, no gray areas. Would highly recommend!
In the past 5 years Dr. Alpert has repaired a ruptured Patellar tendon and a torn Achilles tendon for me. Both surgeries were performed flawlessly and my recovery from each was problem-free. I trust his diagnosis and advice implicitly. Dr. Alpert and his entire staff are friendly, professional and efficient. Hopefully I won't have another injury that will require his help, but if I do I know exactly where I'm going.
Dr. Alpert was very helpful in explaining my condition of a torn rotator cuff and bicep. His medical team at the Algonquin surgery center was definitely the best as the surgery was also. Therapy went as planned and everything is 100%. Thank you Dr. Alpert
