Had a nice long hair entangled in my salad. I was just gonna pull it out and not worry since it was my bday dinner but when the rest of my salad started to dance like a puppet on strings I decided to give it back. I generally like gifts on my bday but I decided to return this unique gift for obvious reasons. So - $3 off the bill and a quick apology with a new salad. Eh, ok but not great. My husband and I were excited to try this place. We both love a good steak and had heard great reviews of this place. We got a gift certificate for Christmas and decided to use it when we went out on our birthday (yes we share the same bday) just a couple weeks later. We were pretty disappointed from the start. My first time here, I heard it was supposed to be a good steak house? I ordered a bone in Ribeye for $29 medium rare (warm red center) it came well done and had to send it back, second steak was much bigger but came rare and had to send it back. By the time I got the steak cooked the way I ordered it I was full and ate most of it the next day. Waitress gave me a free dessert (peanut butter pie) which was out of this world! I'd give them a second chance but wasn't overly impressed with my first experience.

Super cuisine and incredible service! The very best Steak and Prime Rib, this side of Manhattan!
The food was okay. Only issue was hard rolls. A little disappointed in the seafood menu, 5 items. But food was hot and good, service needed help. Very slow. We got there at 6:30, not seated till 7, and we made reservation over a week in advance. Didn't get our orders taken till about 7:30, and did not get served till after 8. We walked out of the restaurant at 9:15.

Some of the best food in Central Maine. Gracious staff. When asked to be moved from where we were seated because it was a little cool, we were quickly moved to a cozier spot. Lovely evening.
