From my first meeting with Dr. Ricotta I felt I was in good hands for what could have been an emergency waiting to happen. From the earliest dates of tests observations to the final decision to take repair action, I could not have asked for better treatment. It was very long.
I arrived at 1:20 for my appointment at 1:30. Did not leave the office till 10 minutes after 4. Nothing runs on time and nobody seems to care

Dr. Ricotta has been my vascular surgeon for over 2 years now. He did my original fistula. He is an excellent surgeon, and "bandaged" me together to have a quality of life. My OP surgeries include Arm angiogram, both legs angiogram, stent etc. His stiches are the best for post-op revovery. *His surgery nursing team is excellent - especially "Masi" ; Ashley, Vivianna, Cynthia..... **Sam, surgical coordinator, is the best I have seen with all the Specialists I see.
Trish, one of the Physician Assistants has cared for me throughout my procedures and followup ultrasounds is a phenomenal professional with a great personality, great listener and is thorough and knowledgeable. The medical assistants and ultrasound technicians are great listeners, attentive and anticipate your every need and/or question. The front desk staff make you feel like family. Very friendly and attentive.
I had all my questions answered by Dr Ricotta, thereby my concerns about my procedure were alleviated. He was most attentive, listened and then explained how my upcoming surgery would be different from a previous vein surgery that was unsuccessful due to the surgeons decision to abort the operation. For me to feel so comfortable with Dr Ricotta , after what I had experienced, was truly a gift.
