Dr. Pennington not only diagnosed me with my main cardiac problem, but found some underlying conditions that explained so much. He never gave up when first line treatments failed like all the others did. Honestly he's the best cardio I have heard of. Best doctor in general! He was recommended by many to me before going. Great bedside manner too. Highly recommend. His office isn't great at being timely, but he is very good.
First & original visit, 40 minutes late with no apology nor explanation. Fair amount of time for patient update of present condition, but failed to have any of my records available, nor any previous attempt at reviewing my ER event. Wanted to prescribe a different A-FIB med just from my explanation/understanding of that ER determination. I left apt encouraged that the new med could be easier for me to tolerate and thought things were going well. WOW! Dr. Pennington was honestly amazing. I dealt with a previous cardiologist who shut me down and wouldn’t help me. Dr. Pennington right from the beginning of the appointment showed how caring and sincere he was. He listened to every concern I had and answered all my questions. I left teary eyed because I finally felt heard and had someone who believed me. I highly recommend him!!!
Dr. Pennington is wonderful. He takes the time to explain everything and listens to all your questions and concerns. I never feel rushed and he calls patients back in a timely matter to answer their questions

Hung up on several times by office manager, cursed at by her and completely disrespected by her. Found out she is doctor Pennington’s wife, so his patients must go through her abuse to try to talk to him.
Dr. Pennington has the best attitude and understanding when it comes to his patients. He explains everything in detail and takes his time. He did my Cardiac Ablation and got my heart beat back in synk. Great Job. I would also like to recommend the Heart and Vascular center at Christiana Hospital. Great nurses with excellent care.
