Went to him for my son who was having trouble breathing, rapid respiration, wheezing, coughing, fever of 101...sent him home with cold and asthma diagnosis. Told us he could even go to school. 2 days later brought him to ER where they measured his Oxygen saturation...was in low 90s! Admitted to hospital and eventually to Childrens Hospital. Either pneumonia or enterovirus...not conclusive. Went on 2 antibiotics, oxygen and steroids. Spent 5 days in hospital and is still recovering! Dr. Leader is thorough, a good listener, and extremely patient with our children.
This man is brilliant and good at his job, he may seem quick because most of the things parents voice are completely unneeded. He has always been extremely nice to my family and has taken excellent care of me. When i went through a difficult medical problem he found me a great specialist and got me well taken care of.
Rather quick. Doesn't listen particularly well to parents concerns. Seems to have the attitude that he knows it all and disregards symptoms as inconsequential if they don't fit into his preconcieved notions. The practice itself is run well and you can always get a nurse on the phone to ask a question. Also scheduling sick appointments is convenient as there is always another doctor available. See Dr. Leader once a year for scheduled annual exam. Wish we had selected another doctor in practice.
