Sees patients on time. Really listens to what the patient tells him and prescribes appropriate rx. Patient never feels rushed as he provides a very calm atmosphere and spends as much time with the patient as he deems necessary. He is knowledgeable about the latest treatments and medications available to treat his patients, and his specialty is geriatric medicine which is important to me as a 69 year old. On top of all of this, he has a great personality and a sense of humor.
I have been seeing Dr. James for more than twenty or more years and every visit has always been enjoying so much I've recommend him to my friends and family. He is a good conversationalist for just about anything and a all out funny guy to.
I've been seeing Dr. James as my primary care physician for nearly 15yrs. He has always provided superb medical competency and professionalism, curiosity in me as an individual patient (not simply the 'next' examining room case), he assesses and progresses with an unblinking adherence to the truth and he exhibits a fine element of good humor. Knowing, caring and capable - it doesn't get much better than that - Dr. James is an excellent physician and a good man. Thanks.

Dr. James is polite, but a no-nonsense kind of guy. After my last visit, during which I was alarmed about a symptom, he phoned me the following morning to check on me. I have not had that experience with a physician since I left Seattle.
