I had been waiting since February to get in to see Dr Aguayo. My PCP found a trace of protein in my urine and wanted to have me test further just to make sure. I had to reschedule my appt due to a death in the family and waited ANOTHER 3 months. I had read the reviews but if ive learned anything, its you have to see for yourself. Side note: I had weight loss surgery in Oct 2023. Lost 115 pounds. Fast forward to my appt last week. The reception, was absolutely welcoming. The lady was so nice and sweet so I felt at ease. Stay far away from Dr. Aguayo and his non caring staff. I went to see him twice after having a stone removed, and he never gave me a blood test. I was supposed to see him for 3rd visit but his staff were too lazy to call my new insurance to get the info they needed, they just wanted to push my appointment back until the insurance contacted them. My new nephrologist ordered 12 blood test on my the first visit and gave me great news. My EGFR has come up from 42 to 57 and my creatinine has dropped from 1.92 to 1.23…
