RecommendedWe simply had the BEST experience at Jo’s American Bistro this past Saturday. The owner is simply the sweetest lady ever and their executive chef Brian is top notch. He came to our table to talk to our son about lunch, reassures him he could make it perfectly safe, and he did! The chef, owner, and waiter were truly amazing. We usually only dine in Disney World where there are dedicated Allergy Chefs, but this restaurant made us feel like we were in Disney World and most importantly kept my son safe. 5 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent food. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Had the Lobster Bisque and it was fabulous! Our Waiter was wonderful. The rolls were piping hot and so delicious with the butter. Also had a Wedge Salad. Largest one I have ever seen. Fresh, flavorful and an exquisite presentation.
Steamed Little necks are amazing. Steak was delish and sweet potatoe mashed heavenly!
Lovely ambiance, good food , live music
Sleek place within easy walking distance of the main drag. Perfect if you want to enjoy a dinner in Newport without competing with bros for attention at a crowded bar. Every staff member was incredibly polite and attentive from the moment we walked in (including the manager that was going around checking on tables), the food was excellent, and the drinks were delicious.
