Dr. Lagares is a wonderful, caring doctor. Doesn't dismiss ANY symptoms you may mention, no matter how minor or vague. He is most definitely the best surgeon to be found between Charleston and Myrtle Beach (where I live). I asked my Primary if there was anyone in the MB area and his reply was "I wouldn't even give you a referral. Lagares is the only one I send my patients to." (My primary is pretty outstanding as well!)

Visit was a follow up of colon surgery. Dr Lagares is professional, personable and the operation was very successful thanks to his skill and the advantage of robotic assistance.

Dr. Legares-Garcia is the most caring and compassionate doctor. He is straight up front with you about procedures. He always says a prayer over you before you go into surgery. He suggested I drink a Kefir yogurt drink to help with digestion. I love Dr. Legares-Garcia! Lisa Collins

I definitely recommend Dr Lagares-Garcia, outstanding surgeon, great patient care, has heart felt compassion to his patient and was extremely easy to talk with no matter how busy he was. Had three surgeries by Dr Lagares and all of them went great with excellent follow up by his experienced staff.

I don't feel confident with the care I have received from Dr. Lagares-Garcia and his staff. Phone calls are not returned right away, for issues after surgery, nor are they resolved. I don't feel I have received urgent care to resolve my issues. Which prolonged undue pain and suffering. There is a dire need for attentive aftercare. Dr. Lagares-Garcia is only as good as a surgeon, as his staff will let him be.

I am so happy and satisfied with the excellent care from Dr. Lagares-Garcia, that I received recently. Friendly and professional, he took me from an urgent emergency situation, through major surgery, recovery, and I'm on my way back to health. At my age of 79, I am extremely thankful for the experience of meeting such a gifted doctor. I would gladly recommend him to anyone in need.
