My sisters neighbor chimney caught fire. We got the neighbor out of the house, who then called the fire department. They arrived in less than 5 minutes and quickly got to the chimney to ensure it wouldn't catch fire again!!! Very impressed�
Our 2 year old Grandson was able to experience the program put on by the Joplin FD at First United Methodist Preschool! He loved it! Thank y’all so much for taking time to share your knowledge with these sweet children! God bless you every day for the job you preform in the City of Joplin and wherever you are needed! We just had the best experience with our fire department. We had a branch fall on our power line, they came out removed the branch and called empire for us. They were so kind and friendly and even asked us several times if we needed anything else. They spent a couple extra minutes letting our four kids take a tour of the fire truck and gave them cute fire hats. They made a pretty scary moment into a good experience.
