Worked there 1974-1982 loved it! Many of the firefighters I had the pleasure of working with were my Hero's growing up. Talking point, I just celebrated my 40th year since I went to work for JFD. Biggest incidents were the Connor Hotel collapse, Thomas Furniture fire, Wal-Mart fire, Northpark Mall fire and 400 block Fire. Everyone stay safe.
