Beautiful beach in a natural state. No hotels or apartment buildings to spoil the atmosphere. You can walk miles along the shoreline. The restrooms are old but they are kept very clean. If you want to be away from people just walk a bit and it will be like your own private beach. All for $10.00 parking. Less if you have the Empire Pass. Stick to Field 1 or 2 if you want quiet.
Had a great time yesterday even though the water was crazy. Beach was clean. Everyone was friendly. The water came up as far as the blue walkway . I haven't enjoyed myself at Jones beach in such a long time as much as I did yesterday. I can't wait to go back next week.
