My son & I sat on the patio and had dinner can you say delicious & relaxing, we had an awesome time and enjoyed our experience. Our hostess was so sweet and checked on us both, this food and the place also the view is AWESOMENESS.
The server was great personality wise. However there was a long wait to get our drinks, to even get our food. The food was good as always however it was cold. This was my 1st time visiting the bigger location, very crowded.

Did you go on Mother’s Day?
We drove all the way from Cedar Hill to have breakfast for Mothers Day and they refused to seat us bc we were a party of 5. The place just opened for the morning and only had a few people there. We even suggested we could split up and just do party of 3 and 2 with separate checks and the host still refused. As we were leaving (very disappointed esp since we have always raved about this place) the host said in a condisending tone "thats just the rule, have a good one". Hi Tonya, I’m sorry you were disappointed in our seating policy. I did post on my Facebook page a reminder about Mother’s Day seating of only small parties. On the top of our website, it also states our seating policy and that we do not split parties. I hope you see my FB post regarding seating. I also hope my staff told you that you needed to join us Jonathon’s Diner, where we accommodate all of our larger parties. My waffles was cold I asked to have it heated, I was told they didn’t have a microwave and no hot syrup. My chicken was not seasoned at all. Disappointed!!!!
I’ve always loved this place! But I love it even more now. I took my mom on Thursday to celebrate Mother’s Day and our server was just so amazingly sweet to her. Also, my mom loved the food. I’m glad I finally took her and that she was treated so well. ���
They have two restaurants and the one we used to eat at had a long wait time so went to other one which is Jonathan’s diner. I was expecting the food to taste just as great as the original one we wanted to eat it but it was below par. I had ordered the famous chicken and waffles and the chicken had no flavor. It was very bland. Even the ranch I had ordered was bland. The only good thing about our meal were the drinks.
The food might be good. It looked good. We saw four tables that came in after us served ahead of us. 75 minutes after we were seated, we were informed we were only 4 tickets back in the kitchen. We decided to leave. But This is what burned me up, they didn't even offer to comp our drinks after leaving us out that long. Horribly handled.
Great food and great service. Timed our visit just right and there was no wait. 👍🏻👍🏻
