I required total left knee joint replacement a few months ago. Dr. Fox was just outstanding to work with. He and his team were so helpful to me, providing education and much needed support during my surgery and recovery. I am happy to say my knee and I are doing very well. I have to have my right knee done in future as well and know that with Dr. Fox we will be in good hands. I cannot thank him and his staff enough! If anyone is needing orthopedic work, highly recommend Dr. Fox.
The staff at Desert Orthopedic are AWESOME, everyone from the front desk to check out and Dr. Jonathan Fox is an amazing surgeon. who really cares about his patients. If I could have given more stars I would have. Love this practice. Everyone I came in contact with was kind and compassionate!
I had a total left knee replacement done by Doctor Fox November of 2017 and shortly after surgery it started popping grinding and was unstable and to this day it still does that. and when I asked him about it at several visits he told me that was the best it was going to get and I would have to live with it. I cannot go up and down stairs or walk very well and uneven pavement cuz my knee buckles out from under me and I cannot totally straighten it out which makes it very difficult to walk.
Their caring and specialized work is so VERY much appreciated! From billing to MA's to Front Desk & management, to Jason & Dr. Fox (and the entire staff), other Doctors, etc.), THANK YOU for representing the best that is available! Note that when we recently found mid-day on a Friday that my wife had a broken tibia causing her severe pain, they pulled together quickly to read the MRI (after hours!), acquire a much-needed brace with consultant for proper usage, and set-up for the weekend before
The office manage is the most rude person on the planet, I called to request a refund as I saw a PA for 4 mins and learned nothing new and was told he would talk to the Dr for me. Upon receiving the call from the office manager she talked for the length of the call and any time I'd open my mouth, I was being "rude" and "slanderous" she then stated that i would've meet the Dr for free had i not been rude, another thing her perfect staff failed to mention. I would see anyone, anywhere else.
I can't say enough about Dr Fox! Totally professional, skilled. My results (2 total hip replacements within 4 month) and I'm walking better than I have in 5 years. Two weeks after the 2nd surgery, I am walking totally unaided, and I require nothing more than Aleve for any discomfort from overdoing it. HE'S THE BEST
His office manager is rude and opinionated. They always said my pre opt info was not receive. I would call provider and find out it had been sent to proper fax number, I was told by office manager I could have delivered it myself. She also stated I probably was not a good fit as a patient as I did not know their procedures. She was going to talk to him and recommend they not treat me. She said she was the highest person I could talk and would not let me talk to anyone else.
Very incompetent office staff. Can never seem to get right dosage of meds that I am on following complete replacement knee surgery.-needed a new script before the holidays-they sent in an old dosage which does not work with my pain. Could not reach doc on call - only message was would get back to me in 24 hours-closed. Office P.A.'s never seem to get things correct. Doc. is OK but needs to have staff retrained to be aware of info that is on patient's charts before prescribing wrong dosage.
I would not go to anyone else. The staff at Desert Orthopedic were great and Dr. Jonathan Fox is an amazing surgeon who really cares about the patient and their outcome. I had a very large tear in my meniscus and he did a skilled job in salvaging and repairing my meniscus. I am back walking on my feet and could not be happier with the results. Also if you need something extra you can see Dr. Joelle Fox for a boost in your recovery process. She is a great ND who works in the same office.
