Dr Matzon is very professional and takes the time to explain everything so that you don’t leave having any questions. I am usually very uneasy around doctors. His calm demeanor made me less nervous. I highly recommend him.
He took the time to thoroughly explain my options and answer all my questions. Even though he was very busy I never felt rushed. I would highly recommend Dr Matzon for any of your hand issues.
Dr. Matzon is a gifted doctor and surgeon, He has done successful carpal tunnel surgery on both my hands, trigger thumb surgery on my left hand, then repair of a broken left wrist and tendon transfer surgery on my left hand. I am so grateful to him for keeping me going! He is knowledgeable, efficient and explains everything in detail to his patients. I trust and would continue to trust him with anything else I may ever need for my hands. Tops in his field!
Dr. Matzon has preformed surgery on my hand after a dog bite & I’ve been seeing him lately for pain in my wrist. He is very caring & doesn’t rush into surgery first
Doc Matzon was awesome. He did my Carpal Tunnel Surgery last Friday and it was almost painless. I am 5 days post surgery and am typing. The guy knows his profession and performs flawlessly. The staff at Jefferson Surgical Center in Sewell are the best bar none. Thank you to everyone for making this very stressful day a little more bearable.

My visit was a wonderful experience.
Dr. Matzon is wonderful! My son got hurt on the weekend & the local ER recommended with see him ASAP. I called the office Monday morning & got an appointment that afternoon. X-rays taken right there & surgery scheduled that Wednesday to repair his left index finger & tendon that were cut. Everything was explained to us in detail & surgery went great! A few weeks of physical therapy & he's got full use of his finger again! Thank you Dr. Matzon
I had carpal tunnel surgery first on my right and and then on my left. Completely eliminated my symptoms in both hands. I went back to Dr. Matzon because I had terrible pain in my right thumb. He gave me a steroid injection and after about a week the pain was gone. Wish all my doctors were this good.
