Dr. Matzon asked many question to get a better understanding of my issue and this way he could treat it properly. He was very through in explaining what the issue was and step that he was going to treat it. I felt that I had a good understanding or the procedure and was ready. Everything went as the Dr. said it would and I was feeling better even before I left. Great Doctor. I would definetly recommend him to everyone.
Dr Matson gave me 4 injections in my right hand, I was suffering with carpal tunnel syndrome and trigger finger, it's been over a year and the pain has yet to return.
Dr. Matzon was great! He was very helpful in determining the best course of action and was thorough about all my options. He seemed to recognize my hesitations with doing the surgery and demonstrated some empathy in the moment. He took the time to listen and find a solution that was best for me and was not pushing surgery like some do. I would definitely refer him to others!
Dr Matzon successfully treated carpal tunnel in both hands, as well as trigger thumb. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.
I am a "frequent flier" to the Rothman Institute. I have had numerous appointments with Dr. Matson due to my hands, my latest being trigger finger surgery on my right hand. The procedure went extremely well. The entire Surgery Center staff were excellent. I can't say enough. I would highly recommend Rothman Institute and Dr Jonas Matson to family and friends.
I've been experiencing pain in my left wrist for years, and have seen other specialists before seeing Dr. Matzon. He was the first person to really listen to the description of my pain, sent me back out for a follow up x-ray (in the office, during the initial visit) and was able to explain to me what the issue is. We spoke in depth for at least 15-20 minutes, and not once did I feel rushed, like with other specialists. I would definitely recommend Dr. Matzon to anyone who asks.

I had a great experience with Dr. Matzon. He performed corporal tunnel and also treated me for two hand fractures. I would recommend and have recommended my friends to Dr. Matzon. He was kind and compassionate, answered all my questions, and gave me the confidence I needed to follow his advise.
