Dr Matson was very caring and explained my condition in a clear manner l would definitely recommend him for anyone e needing a hand specialist
4th visit over couple of years receiving consult and steroid shots. Easy to talk to and explains clearly. He listens and gauged well what was best next step for me. Surgery is scheduled and I’m actually looking forwards to it. I always feel heard.
I recently saw Dr. Matzon for carpal tunnel syndrome. He took time to exam my hand and look over my recent test for carpal tunnel. He recommended endoscopic surgery as the best course of action. Dr. Matzon fully explained the surgery procedure to me, what to expect in terms of recovery. He then set in motion the scheduling of for my surgery date. He is very friendly, competent and answered all my questions. Would highly recommend him to anyone with a medical issue involving the hand.
I’ve been seeing Dr Matson for injections in my hands. He has always helped me . He is very kind and friendly. I am always able to get an appointment quickly.

I can’t say enough bad things about this Doctor. There is a long list of things but I’ll Keep it short. He had no bedside manners and sent me away saying he didn’t know what was wrong. Basically doubted I had pain. Only to find out when I went to another practice not associated with RO, they found a fracture in my wrist. I went back to Dr Matzon and it was like he didn’t believe me, that he could have been wrong, as I was sitting there in a cast. After that -I stopped seeing him. It had been several Visits at that point.

Diagnosed issue with my hand quickly. Provided the appropriate solution which has worked well.
I was given excellent care. I highly recommend Dr. Matzon. Dr. Matzon operated on my broken wrist and recently I had a concern with my fingers. I was given cortisone shots to relieve the pain and lack of mobility in three of my fingers.
Professional, caring, and not at all pedantic (unlike some other health professionals). Since my surgery, I’ve regained full use of my arm - which I understand is unusual at my age. I feel lucky that I was referred to him.
