Not worth the big price tag. Fish pate appetizer was so spicy you could not taste the fish (it could have been toothpaste) . Grouper Oscar had a crust on it like it had been under a heat lamp. The crab was grey. Caesar salad good. Warm bread was awesome. Soup delivered after my meal. Friendly service. Nice atmosphere. My wife's snapper was the same. Tasted like it was left out for a while. It's the midwest. I should have gone to a steak house.
After many, many great dining experiences at Jonah's and The Oyster Bar, I was disapointed last week. I ordered the special which was descrbed as Cod and Grouper filets cooked with seaweed. Both pieces of fish looked identical, and tasted fishy. It was a considerable dirve, and a let down, as eating at either restaurant is usually a highlight of my week. I contacted management twice, with no reply. I am bummed that I need to find a new favorite seafood restaurant in this area.
Top Rated! Had the Grouper Oscar excellent flavor and freshness! The birthday girl received a complimentary slice of chocolate cake...enough to feed the 5 of us! Thanks, Jonah's, for a memorable birthday dinner!
Amazing seafood. It was all great the bang bang shrimp I had the Oscar grouper and my husband had the cobia it was all fantastic and it was some of the freshest seafood we have ever eaten. We will definitely be back. Oh and our waiter was the best!
Went in at 830pm tonight. First visit, heard good things. Service not awesome, room temp crab stuffed mushrooms, too much onion it the salad for sure, african lobster tail room temp, scallops barely cooked and room temp, filet good but small, augratin potatoes really good, gold potatos are bland as all get out, zucchini and squash undercooked. Bill for 2 $105 before tip. $125 out the door being generous. Definitely not the fish house in Peoria. Never again. We will just be happy if we do not get sick.
Jonah's is a terrific place to go. Awesome food and service. It was a full house. Service was great. Made my Birthday celebration!
I went to Bradley and this is my favorite restaurant to come back and visit. Love the oyster bar for apps and drinks and had my family graduation dinner in the seafood house. Love the different options
Unfortunately my meal was not special. Had to send it back and still not right but our waitress was very accommodating and understood...been there many times and food is usually good.
I love this place! Bring back the hotter horseradish!
