Hidden and privately owned gem on the Oyster side. LOVE the menu, food & people. You cannot get better service here. My only suggestion would be to have a Hostess “waiting list”. We arrived at 535 pm on a Saturday evening, for a four top. 4 Groups that arrived 15, 20, 30 & 40 minutes after us, literally walked in, hawked a table, (while we have been standing, waiting for a table) and snatched a table (2 people in a booth that seats 6?) while we were polite and waited. I was there with a group, and the service and food was excellent.
It’s our favorite. We’d eat here more often, but we like having a special occasion spot to celebrate milestones in life. I highly recommend: oysters Rockefeller, the chowder, or crawfish étouffée, and crem brûlée with a coffee.
The honey mustard dressing and the chocolate cake are two of my favorite things! Oh, and the red beans and rice, the seafood nachos, and Oysters Rockefeller!!!!
Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful view of the river. We were greeted and seated promptly, our waiter was very friendly and attentive. He was also very well educated on the menu and answered all of our questions. The food was to die for!! Our meals were very flavorful, presented well and filling. I would highly recommend others to give it a try!
We've never had a bad meal. Always outstanding food and amazing wait staff.
Crawfish was great and the service was pretty good & great atmosphere
I wrote a bad review 3 weeks ago , and i just deleted it . Our family group of 16 had dinner there friday night and we really enjoyed the service we shared 6 different appetizers and all were excellent, we had a variety of main courses mine was excellent and everyone else was happy, not Shaws in Chicago but price was equal to the the food. The service was timely and friendly .
