I received a replacement hip in early December 2020. Twelve weeks later and I am feeling great and am very pleased with how the entire process came off. I am pain-free in the hip area and looking forward to the summer months. Was kept abreast of what was going to happen prior to surgery and what to expect post surgery. I will certainly use Dr. Hop and his staff if I require a replacement for my other hip.
I received a new hip from Dr Jon Hop in November. The whole procedure went very smooth from first appointments to the others made for all preparations. Surgery was explained and went very well! I enjoyed the texts received from Dr Hop which kept me on plan of recovery! I am very satisfied and am pain free!! Thank you all at Shoreline orthopedics!
I am one year post-op for right hip replacement by Dr. Hop. I am pain free and played more golf this past summer than the previous two combined! I could not be more pleased with the results of my surgery, nor more grateful for Dr. Hop’s expertise and skill as a surgeon. The courtesy and professionalism of Shoreline Orthopaedics staff is unparalleled, as is that of the staff of the Orthopedic Surgery unit at Holland Hospital. I will be forever thankful to them all.

September 1, 2020, I had right hip replacement surgery - my first. Dr. Hop tracked my hip deterioration, and when I was ready, he was ready. From pre-op Holland Hospital Hip Replacement Guide Book as well as from Dr. Hop's pre and post surgery and recovery website to his patients, I was given encouragement, helpful exercises, and general advice; this I really appreciated. Dr. Hop is sincerely empathetic and genuinely responds to honest and respectful communication. If I need a left hip replacement, I shall return to Dr. Hop.
Had both knees done first one done Jan 23rd 2020 and the second Aug 25th 2020. Minimal pain on both times very fast recovery back to work after 6 weeks on the first one Dr Hop and his staff and the staff at Holland hospital did a great job. Thanks for the great job
Dr. Hop has replaced both of my hips and both of my knees. I have trusted him with all of his diagnosis and recommendations. After every surgery I was up and active within a couple weeks. Always professional and helpful with any questions, He answers in a way that is easily understood. I highly recommend Doctor Hop along with Shoreline Orthopaedics.
I received a full hip replacement from Dr. Hop six weeks ago and am shocked at how good I am feeling. I am pain-free after years of living with hip joint and muscle pain. The day after my six-week follow-up appointment, I walked 2 miles with no pain! I highly recommend Dr. Hop and his team.
