Love Dr Nelson and all other docs that have taken care of my kids. He always makes you feel like he cares and never acts rushed to get to next patient. We are so grateful for having him as our doc the past 12 years!
We absolutely LVE Dr. Shaffer. She is such a benevolent person by giving her time and talents to the patients she cares for and loves. She is a very knowledgable and caring doctor. We are blessed to have all of our 3 children cared for by such a world class doctor.
We have 4 children that have been patients of Doc Nelson, 2 are now adults. He has a terrific sense of humor and cares deeply for his babies, no matter their age. I have a more eastern approach to our children's health care and have found that Doc may not always agree but is never demeaning. With no doubt I give much praise, however, I will say most all relationships have their bumps, we have encountered 1 huge nursing snafu and many office staff faux pas over the years. As a first time mom, I had no idea who to choose as a pediatrician for my preemie. Dr. Nelson came highly recommended. We've been seeing Dr. Nelson for 6 months now and am extremely pleased with how well he treats my son. He always answers any of my questions. His nurse is AWESOME too!!! We've also had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Decker. The front desk ladies are so welcoming and pleasant. I am happy with my choice in JOCO pediatrics!!
Dr Nelson is absolutely great...sadly the nursing staff is beyond rude and not at all concerned with their young patients.
Our boys have seen Dr. Decker since they were born. It was a sad day when our oldest outgrew the practice. We LOVE Dr. Decker, thorough, compassionate, & professional. We've seen others in the practice & have always had a good experience. We wouldn't go anywhere else!
