Well it was a hell of an experience, I have to say I thought JC Med Center had switched with Sycamore Shoals by location.....I never felt more disrespected in my life. The trauma doctor who released me made my mom cry and had his finger in my face....he was lucky I had one leg. No matter what a doctor takes an oath, he is responsible to have the best character possible. I admit I wasn't the best but laying in your own shit and piss after the CNA's thought they would be funny and load my drink with 3packs in 1 drink of mirola... read more

I presented to the emergency department with severe neck and back pain. After being placed in a cervical collar, I was left in a hallway chair for several hours without a call light. I informed the nurse that sitting in the chair with the neck brace was making my pain significantly worse. I was given hot compresses but remained in the chair without meaningful reassessment or a treatment plan. I ultimately left because I felt my pain was worsening and I was not receiving appropriate care.
