The management of the ER is so poor that this may happen here. It is scary to think I live 2 minutes down the street and could have died in September due to the lack of care I received. By the time I was driven to Johns Hopkins after leaving HoCo General without being seen for over 4 hours for a severe nosebleed, I required 4 (FOUR) blood transfusions. HoCo General staff were kind enough to ask me to move to a separate waiting room since my bleeding may have been causing others waiting in the ER to be upset!!!! This is what ... read more
RecommendedWe sought out Dr Tunkel (ENT) at Johns Hopkins months ago as a second opinion for a tracheostomy. (Which is now gone!!)We have had nothing but positive experiences since the second we met him. From the outpatient center, to the helpful staff in the halls, and the personalized expert patient care provided by Dr Tunkel and the ENT team, we have been overwhelmingly impressed. there is something called empathy. this hospital does not have any. other Childrens hospitals do not treat there patients this way.
Gross mistreatment of children and their families. Everyone operating within this facility should be ashamed of themselves.
