We ended up being a little late to my 8 month old son's surgery time and they said don't worry, drive safe. They brought him back to pre-op and got him dressed in his little gown and socks and were so gentle and nice to him. Then I got to hold him up until the doors heading to surgery room and my husband and I kissed him goodbye. We sat in a room while we waiting and they kept us updated the whole time. Amazing staff, great group of people. My daughter was in DKA and they took great care of her from the ER to the PICU to the 8th floor for final discharge from the hospital.
I have been going to All Children's since I was 15. I've suffered from migraines and they discovered i had lesions on my brain. Last year they found a brain tumor and they decided to operate. Dr.Rodriguez was absolutely amazing every step of the way. I was obviously very nervous but I couldn't have asked for a better outcome( he did a great job covering up my bald spot from surgery too!!) 5 years ago i went to HCH emergency room with 9/10 pain in my back, they took an X-ray and said it wasn't a kidney stone. I go to my urologist, he puts the X-ray up points to an obvious kidney stone that Ray Charles could have seen. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, I go to HCH for 9/10 pain in my back, wait 6 hours to see a doc at 3 in the morning, no X-ray or scan done just urine test, they say no blood no kidney stone. I was there yesterday for a physical for my grandson. It was an extreme awesome experience the doctors were very informative and very helpful they treated Malachi who has a teenager with respect and dignity and related one-to-one with him.
