This is the only commercial airport in Orange County, situated 35 miles to the south of Los Angeles. It has two runways and parking space for over 7,500 vehicles. Over nine million passengers avail of its services each year, and over 20,000 tons of air cargo is handled here. Three commuter, 11 commercial and two all-cargo airlines operate from the airport too.

The new ride share procedure is a nightmare!!!! Terrible process, waiting in the sun, took 3X as long as the old pickup (which wasn’t broken and didn’t need to be fixed). And the attendants couldn’t have been more unpleasant despite knowing we were all doing this for the first time and there was no signage indicating unusual rules. The driver can’t get out of the car to help with luggage or they get screamed at and a ticket.

whoever made the decison to change where Uber and Lyft pickup, and not put any clear signs to the parking garage where the pickup is, didn't do very good planning. there are multiple garages! i am at the airport almost every week, and it is still confusing! you have three people sitting behind a sign that says"taxi" ten feet away, but you can't have one near the uber and Lyft sign to help direct, or make better signs. very poor and unintelligent design and idea!
The new Uber/Lyrt pickup location is terrible. It adds a half hour to pickup times and is completely unorganized.
4 stars ⭐ If you want a less crowded airport in CA, this is the place for you. (When I was younger, I used to call John Wayne the "wimpy cowboy" movies, but don't let that fool you to what's inside aka the large John Wayne statue at the entrance if the airport). Overall, a nice airport (clean, well-kept, and small), shorter security lines, and easy access transportation from the airport (and what used to be an Auntie Anne's)
Clean and big. Easy to maneuver.
