I recommend Mark for your Nurse in the ED. Especially if you have to get an IV. My son has nonexistent veins and Mark got it on the first poke!!!!! No fishing around for veins when Mark is your nurse. He made a horrible experience with a sick child turn into a not so horrible experience. I will forever remember that.

my husband has been admitted twice recently through the ER. He has been treated rudely, I as his caregiver have been treated rudely, and his shoes with $400 custom orthodics disappeared when he moved rooms but the hospital didnt write them down on his list of possessions (obviously to them, "clothes" doesn't include shoes) so they, instead of apologizing, said that I brought him in with no shoes. we can travel a bit further and go to Alta Bates hospital and we will next time.

$4300 for a concussion and 4 hours in the ER. Are you joking?
