His “bedside manner” is subpar. For someone being the chief, I expected more I guess. We waited in the waiting room for over an hour to see him. First his assistant/resident came before he did. When he walked in, he did not even introduce himself or anything or speak to the patient to get a real feel of what brought them to him. When I was 15 years old I was diagnosed with scoliosis and it was determined that I had an “s” curve (one curve in my Thoracic and the other in Lumbar) and was deeply frightened to find out I would be needing a spinal fusion. Not only is Dr. Flynn a highly skilled surgeon but he has such a welcoming and reassuring manner and I remember that he was always incredibly thorough to go over every detail and question that I and my parents had during every appt.
