Well, to begin with I had a doctor change. I had a prescription for high blood pressure and the newly assigned could not sign off on it for over 3 weeks. I called Scott, the patient advocate, and he told me he would have someone from quality call me. Never happened. Scott said he emailed that person (????). Thanks to Ms Turner in the pharmacy a 30 day supply was shipped to me. Went to My Dr? appointment and his excuse was he was OVERWHELMED. Every and all staff were very help full and though full doctors very good with my boss and it's always been in and out very qwick
Not just another hospital; rather, a quality of medical care that others should emulate for caring and for genuineness.
The VA Med Center serves the Veteran with genuine care and concern; you are their mission in life. They do not stint you or make you resentful. You hear on the news of VAH that are lacking in their care for the veteran, this is an unfair characterization of the VA.
John J Pershing is what they need to set the standard with. Very good this time. Went in with infection in lungs, left with oxygen and medicine. Better than Dr visit two weeks ago at one of the clinics.

Friendly staff through out the whole hospital!! Lots of pride for our veterans. Been wonderful to us. And the doctors are great and the nurses are too. Wonderful group of people. Love this place. America at our best Thank you
My husband is receiving physical therapy now. We both are being treated with the up most respect. The staff are kind, and accommodating to each of us. My husband has nothing but high praises for each staff member! He says they truly care for the veterans!
