I first went to Dr. John in 1976. Iwas distressed to find I needed a root canal procedure, but he did the work expertly and with virtually no pain. Since then Dr John has done all of my dental work; I have not visited any other dental practice. He renewed an aging 3 tooth bridge, again painless. In fact, I actually fell asleep in the chair during one procedure, no drugs (other than Novocaine) involved! Professional, thoughtful, and friendly are the best words to describe Dr. John; I highly recommend the practice

Had not visited a dentist for a while prior to seeing Dr. Leonard. Am now a regular past 2 yrs+. He is a very good, highly talented (technically), and very nice dentist. His calm confidence is immediately apparent and one great advantage- he is very quick and efficient (so you don't sit in the chair any longer than necessary). I'm now referring my spouse to him for her next dental needs and have referred to colleagues previously. I strongly recommend him.

Great Dentist has taken care of my teeth for 25 years. In that time he has kept my teeth in top condition and has adhered to my Dental Coverage. Dr. Tom is available when Dr. John is out. All my visits have been successful (as enjoyable as a dental visit can be.)

What can I say - my dentist is the best. The entire office is great. It's a pleasure, seriously, when I need to go in for a visit or cleaning. Maria my hygienist is SUPER. I'm always happy with my cleanings.

His practice is wonderful: painless, amiable (but not too chatty), and a great support staff. I have dental insurance which seems to keep rejecting our claims, but his billing office is patient and re-submits (and doesn't complain to me) until the insurance company ultimately relents. I originally went to him on a recommendation and I am very pleased.

I went in without insurance (after switching job). And John gave me a discount when I have to pay from my own pocket for the cavity. The secretary Joan was very nice and helpful with schedule this meeting. The equipments are a little old - but in good shape. I felt a little pain during the process - not sure whether it was because the cavity was really deep or something else. Overall I think this is a good dental office run by two brothers.

They definitely do their best to get you in on time. I've developed a great relationship with the dentist and staff. I've had quality care and respect. Cost is reasonable for center city, and they submit my insurance. I just show up and they take care of the rest. They let me know what treatment options are available to me, but are not pushy. I've referred many co-workers, friends and family to this office.

My husband and I have been seen and treated by both Dr. John and Dr. Tom Leonard and have had great experiences with both. They are professional, personable, careful, and relaxed. Their staff of dental hygienists are also a warm and skilled group of professionals. We have had occasional logistical issues when it came to insurance and payment but they were eventually cleared up and corrected. A couple of front desk staff could've been more friendly, but they might just have been having bad days when we were there.

I have gone to John Leonard for 30 years. He and his staff are always very professional. His workmanship and results are always excellent. He's very thorough.
