I’m writing this as someone with a long history with Dr. John J. Kalata, both personally and through my family. He was once an excellent, attentive family physician—someone who truly cared about his patients and built relationships that lasted decades. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Since becoming more involved with LECOM, there has been a noticeable and disappointing decline in the quality of care. My doctor for life. His depth and breadth of medical knowledge is why I go to him, but his compassion, common sense and sense of humor is why I stay with him
He is good dr however does not have time to the right things for pt. Never get ahold of his staff or never in office. Just alit of run around since he joined Eastside practice. Biggest problem has no after hours phone help. Urgh
