Sherry told me to (from Dr. Gearharts office) to have the prescription called in by the pharmacy which was wrong, it took me 3 more phone calls to get it right. The pharmacy correctly told me that they can't do anything without the doctors office calling in the prescription.

While the waiting times have decreased, I will be finding a new doctor because I feel that Dr. Gearhart will retire soon. There is no evidence of this, it represents my opinion, and my opinion only, Also, his staff sometimes appears to have difficulty with patient rapport. Many times they have acted in a less than friendly manner, and perhaps it is because they are overwhelmed. Dr. Gearhart took the time to hear what I had to say and asked questions to delve into the problems I was having. He did not rush through the appointment.

I've used Dr. G for 15 years and have no but positive things to say about him. He's probably one of the hardest working PCP in Tulsa. His staff and nurses have always been helpful and attentive. I'd give them all a 10 out of 10. I wish he were still practicing by himself but I understand that doctors are forced to join groups to survive these days. I admire his dedication to his patients.

I have always had exceptional experience with Dr Gearhart. He is knowledgeable, he listens to my concerns and treats me accordingly, and is very responsive in corresponding. I feel that my healthcare is in the best of hands.

Dr. Gearhart, the nurses, and the front office staff are not only efficient but also so very friendly. Dr. Gearhart is always willing to listen to your medical problems and never makes you feel rushed. He is also very knowledgeable in many areas outside Family Medicine. But he will also tell you when he doesn't know something and will work on finding the answer. First, I have found Dr Gearhart’s primary nurse to be rude and doesn’t establish patient rapport. Concerning Dr Gearhart, his clinical decisions seem to be orchestrated based on a patient’s insurance. These, of course, only represent my opinion and observations.
