Direct, to the point and precise. My situation was emergency surgery (spinal fusion). There was not much time. After the preliminary evaluation, tests and scans, he presented the facts, options and his path forward. He made sure every step of the way that, I clearly understood exactly what was going on, addressed all questions or concerns in way I could easily comprehend. I am extremely fortunate to have had Dr. Girasole perform my surgery.
Dr. Bernstein is outstanding! He did surgery on each of my wrists - one I broke (and needed a plate to repair it) and the other I had arthritis and a ruptured tendon. Both surgeries went very well - wrists are 100%. Not only is Dr. Bernstein a skilled surgeon, he is caring, compassionate, and he listens. I highly recommend Dr. Bernstein!!
My husband was in need of a lumbar fusion.. He was in extreme pain. We spent time trying to find a surgeon and decided on Dr Girasole in Trumbull, CT. He is an excellent surgeon and has a high level of experience and expertise. Six months after the surgery he is doing great. The entire staff was professional and very friendly. We highly recommend Dr. Girasole
Perhaps I saw Dr. Benier on a bad day. The wait time was a short wait, the waiting room had one person while I waited to be seen. Without going into much detail, I'm a Package Handler under Workers Compensation for lower back injury to left leg. X-ray where taken, but never explained. I proceed to explain how the injury occurred, never got a word in edge wise. Dr. Irving replaced both my knees. My left knee is wonderful. I wish I had done it sooner. My right knee is still too new to say, but the surgery went well. I am recovering nicely and doing the work.
Jennifer is awesome! Dr. Girasole made me feel very confident in my surgery and knowing he and Dr. Russo will be working together relieves my mind tremendously. I'm very happy with my decision to have the surgery. The overall attitude of the entire staff.
