Hip replacement
Brilliant surgeon who gets the right people involved to create a multi-disciplinary team to treat the not so common ailments in orthopedics. The very best bedside manner too. His PA is great.

Pre-op Dr Neilson was thorough & Frank concerning the hip replacement I was requesting. I was well informed on what to expect.
From our first meeting regarding a hip fracture related to cancer treatment, Dr. Neilson listened carefully, asked about my concerns and carefully evaluated how to move forward. He did not rush into surgery, first observing if the joint might stabilize itself. When surgery became the best option he carefully envisioned what he needed to do to replace my hip and stabilize my damaged pelvis, describing what he would do and what to expect good and bad.
