Doesn't care about his patients, or at least me. Been having SEVERE problems for 2 months, but he IGNORES! Calls me sweetie in person, because he can't remember names! Doesnt give test results because you are too busy visiting relatives out of country! Not fair to your patients. That's why you are no longer my GI Dr.
His staff at the surgery center were extremely friendly, courteous, helpful and funny. He explained everything going on and followed up with clear explanation.
Dr. Rivera, gerontologist, is an excellent doctor. He respects his patients, and treats us like family. He has been my doctor for many years, and I highly recommend him. And I cannot say enough about his staff. Ashley Craig and her staff too. They don't mess around when it comes to patient respect, and care. No thanks. He canceled on me to many times. Wait time to see him was over 30 mins. Refills was on time. Colonoscopies was rescheduled 3 times In months. He is younger than most drs. This may not be his fault. Just seems off.
The MD is great, but the office staff is terrible, They never answer their phones. Poor customer service
Had diarehea for 3 month, went to urgent care and they'd wanted me to see him asap. First told next available appt was in 5 months. Then they called back and said 6 weeks. I told them I can not go 6 more weeks feeling like this with no diagnosis and tests shoe my white blood count elevated. I have also been an established patient for over 5 yrs. very rude staff.
I have been seeing dr riveria for 6 years. With my disease it's important to have a history. However, he is consistently unavailable for appointments when there is a problem. It usually takes 3 months or more to be seen. I would not recommend him for anything serious. Simple issues he is fine. Nice, professional otherwise
